Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms," "Terms of Service") carefully before using the Asaan Invoice - AI Bill Maker mobile application (the "App") operated by Asaan Invoice ("us," "we," or "our").

Your access to and use of the App is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the App.

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the App.

1. Description of Service

Asaan Invoice is a mobile application that allows users to create, manage, and share professional invoices. The App includes features such as:

  • Invoice creation and management
  • AI-powered invoice generation
  • Client and product management
  • PDF export and sharing capabilities
  • Business analytics and reporting

2. User Accounts

Some features of the App may require you to create an account. When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3. Subscriptions and Payments

3.1 Free and Premium Tiers

The App offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

  • Free Tier: Limited features including 5 invoices per month, 3 AI generations per month, and basic templates with advertisements
  • Premium Tier: Unlimited features, no advertisements, all templates, and priority support
  • Lifetime Purchase: One-time payment for permanent premium access

3.2 Billing and Cancellation

Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to:

  • Pay the applicable subscription fees
  • Automatic renewal unless you cancel before the renewal date
  • Google Play Store's terms and payment policies

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play Store settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

3.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Google Play Store according to their refund policies. Please contact Google Play Support for refund inquiries.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Create fraudulent or misleading invoices
  • Engage in any illegal activities or tax evasion
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
  • Use the App for any purpose that violates applicable laws
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Remove or modify any copyright or proprietary notices

5. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Asaan Invoice. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the content you create using the App (invoices, client data, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

6. AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to assist with invoice creation. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for:

  • Reviewing all AI-generated invoices before sending
  • Ensuring accuracy of amounts, details, and calculations
  • Verifying compliance with local tax and business regulations

We are not liable for any errors in AI-generated content or any consequences resulting from the use of such content.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party services, including:

  • Google Play Services (for payments)
  • Google AdMob (for advertisements)
  • Analytics providers

We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party services. Your use of such services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Results obtained from the App will be accurate or reliable
  • The App will meet your specific requirements
  • Any errors in the App will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASAAN INVOICE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Financial losses resulting from invoice errors
  • Tax penalties or legal consequences
  • Damages arising from unauthorized access to your data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Asaan Invoice and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you create or share through the App

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the App will cease immediately
  • You may export your data before termination if possible
  • Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms in the App and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Asaan Invoice operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If resolution is not possible, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
